Happy Spring!

This month, all students will begin their hockey units in PE and will begin safety and injury prevention in health.  In PE, students will work on dribbling, passing, shooting, and will even participate in a modified hockey game!  In health, K-2 students will learn about school safety, bike safety, water safety, and fire safety.  Students in grades 3-5 will explore online safety, first aid, water safety, and strangers.  In other news, our first graders will have two more creative movement lessons from our Dean College Dance Intern and fifth graders will be screened for scoliosis during the first week in April.   Nurse Richardson has already sent a letter home explaining the scoliosis screening, but if your healthcare provider has screened your child for scoliosis in the past year, then your child does not need to be screened again at school.   Happy Spring!
