It's been a while!

Hello! I can’t believe my maternity leave is coming to an end!  It seems like just yesterday that our daughter, Riley, was born!  She is getting bigger everyday and although I’m going to be sad leaving her, I’m very excited to get back to teaching at Parmenter!  Starting in December, all students will be beginning basketball skills.  We will focus on dribbling, passing, and even shooting!  In health, all students will also begin their grade-level lessons of disease control and prevention.  Just as a reminder, please ensure that your child wears sneakers on days that they have both physical education and health as I always try to incorporate some form of movement!  I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and I look forward to returning to Parmenter! Mrs. Doyle Riley :)

Happy Summer!

Thank you for another great year at Parmenter!   If you haven’t heard, my husband and I are expecting our first child at the end of the summer!   As a result, I will be back at Parmenter after Thanksgiving.   I hope you all have a wonderful, safe, and active summer and I look forward to seeing you all when I return J

A BIG field day thank you!

Just a quick note to give a BIG thanks to the Field Day Committee, PCC, volunteers, Parmenter staff, and everyone else in the Parmenter community for helping to make field day a lot of fun for the students!   Field day wouldn’t be possible without you all!! Mrs. Doyle :)

thank you!

Thank you so much for the beautiful flowers and sweet treats during Teacher Appreciation Week!  I feel so lucky to teach at Parmenter!

Some Tennis Pictures

Below are some pictures of a first grade class hard at work in various tennis challenges.  We worked on individually tossing and catching a bean bag on our racquets and then we moved to our squads for new challenges.  Younger students will have the opportunity to work with tennis balls in the coming weeks.  I hope you enjoy the pictures!
