Our 4th graders recently had the chance to form a hypothesis about which beverage had the most sugar. The beverages are below...ask your 4th grader if they can tell you which beverage has the most sugar and which beverage has the least.
We also discussed how sugar is listed in grams on the nutrition label. Since we really don't work with grams, we learned that 4 grams of sugar is equal to 1 teaspoon. The amount of teaspoons of sugar in your favorite drinks may surprise you!
